I am a woman who has loved to see how a touch of Jesus heals brokeness and mends shattered places
in lives. The amazing thing is that those areas become, as Elizabeth Elliot used to proclaim: "Gateways to JOY" When I see the word 'Gateways' here, I think in terms of huge iron gates that have to be raised with a winch. Heavy Gates, like at the walls of a castle after you come across a moat. Walking through that gateway, INTO the Castle allows entrance to the inner sanctuary of a stronghold. Its the protected place, the refuge. The Gateway is impressive, but more impressive could be the LAND that is opened out to the one passing through that gate, previously barred to that person. Passing through the gateway of suffering or trial or pain actually, if the LORD is working in your life, will mean that there now are lands,whole territories to enter. Or it might be that there are new relationships to be enjoyed. Or, there might be new positions to occupy. It might mean for you a new place of residence, perhaps including castles to live in; families to join or honors to obtain. Or that new gateway might lead to freedom to live in. For you, perhaps that gate was really a prison door that has been unlocked and the hinges are creeking open after years of inactivity.
Where ever that gateway leads, there are stories to tell. Oh, the stories waiting to be told!!! I LOVE a good story!!! Tell me YOUR Story, especially if its about freedom. Stories of captivity that has been conquered are best! If its about REDEMPTION in the LORD JESUS CHRIST there is usually a captive that has found freedom. He is the teller, the writer of the BEST stories! These type of stories will strengthen, touch, instruct, empower and cheer us! He really can restore the 'Years that the LOCUST have eaten'. Nothing is too hard for HIM!!!
While I start with my own story, I LONG to hear YOURS! I envision this blogspot to contain, one day, the stories of HUNDREDS of MOSAIC WOMEN!!! Stories that will sting our eyes with tears, only to gladden our hearts with laughter and the thrill of redemption! I am looking for YOU, Oh MOSAIC WOMAN!!!
We are MOTHERS in ZION! We are strong in faith, in service, in love and compassion. We are strong in wisdom and lessons learned the hard way, by making many mistakes. Mistakes that were made by trusting him who can not be trusted or believed. During that tough time, we have learned that voice is so different in message and sound from the wonderful healing voice of OUR LORD. We know the sound of each and we can help if you are confused. Many are confused these days. We are herer to help, to pass along the wisdom, the love, and the prayers that we learned in those hard places. We wish to help even one not to struggle alone, as we have had to. Never again!! We don't want you to stuggle alone!
So Mosaic Women, Unite! WRITE! Pour out your wisdom and encouragement. BELIEVE that there are those who need to hear YOUR story.
I am one who does! But I will start by trusting you to want to hear mine.
